Assassin’s Creed Origins PS5 60 FPS Update Likely Coming June 7
Ubisoft is expected to drop the Assassin’s Creed Origins PS5 60 FPS update on June 7, the same day that the game arrives on Xbox Game Pass.
Yes, we originally reported that the update would be arriving this week, but that appears not to be the cease. However, with the game’s arrival on Xbox Game Pass next week, it seems very likely that this is when we’ll be getting the patch.
Assassin’s Creed Origins is fully playable on the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S via backwards compatibility, alongside pretty much all of the PS4-era Assassin’s Creed games.

Ubisoft launched Assassin’s Creed Origins for PS4, PC, and Xbox One in Fall 2017, and arrived on the back of a one-year break for the stealth-action franchise. The game was followed by Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, before the series took another year off and delivered Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
