Clash Royale Capture the Queen Challenge best decks guide
Clash Royale’s new Season 46 Boot Camp update has come with some interesting updates for the fans. Even though the concerns about the new pass royale are still up there, the new challenges make the game interesting. This time, another new event has arrived, with the Archer Queen making an appearance, but with a slight twist. So, in this article, we will discuss some of the best decks that you can use to clear the Capture the Queen Challenge in Clash Royale.
Best Decks for Capture the Queen Challenge
This challenge has quite the twist, as only one player can have the Archer Queen by himself, and then get the advantage of having the Queen fight for him. The Archer Queen’s ability is what makes it important to capture her, as it makes her invisible and enhances her attack speed for a short period of time.
Hence, it is necessary to design a deck so that it can capture the queen early as well as outplay the opponent. So, here are our top three deck picks without any order.
1. Skeletons, Fire Spirit, Cannon, Baby Dragon, Royal Hogs, The Log, Musketeer, Golden Knight
Average Elixir Cost: 3.0
The first deck is a variation of one of the best decks for the Archer Queen and is very effective in capturing the queen as well as utilizing the best of her. Use the Royal Hogs + Bats combo to follow the capture, where you have enough counters for both Air and Ground.
Having a champion in the deck works great as you can use two abilities at the same time, so Golden Knight is a very good fit for this one. Skeletons and Fire Spirit are low-cost counters, with the Cannon being a great defensive building with the Musketeer for cover.
2. Bats, Zap, Arrows, Wall Breakers, Mega Knight, Bandit, Prince, Wall Breaker, Mighty Miner
Average Elixir Cost: 3.5
One of the best decks when used correctly, the attack potential of this deck is just off the charts. Mega Knight can single-handedly take out the Queen as well as rescue her, so dropping him on the bridge would be a great move for a first card.
Prince and Bandit are good counters to Archer Queen on the ground, while the spell combo of Zap and Arrows works great for countering troops played against your ground ones. The inclusion of the Mighty Miner to drop the bomb is once again to take advantage of having two Champion cards.
3. Skeletons, Fire Spirit, X-Bow, Fireball, The Log, Knight, Wizard, Skeletons
Average Elixir Cost: 3.1
The final deck is very frustrating when you play it as the opponent. The quick cycle of counters to many troops works in its favor, while two defensive buildings, X-Bow and Cannon help to retrieve the Archer Queen from a distance without distractions.
Simultaneously, they add value to strengthen your defensive play, with the spells Fireball and Log helping to clear the arena for the Queen to inflict damage. Play the Wizard to counter the heavy air units and the Knight is a card that is played to get more elixir value advantage.
The event when viewed as a whole isn’t very creative from the side of the creators, as it is just the good old capture-the-card system. Queen does add a lot of value to the player who captures, so it might give an unfair advantage to the player playing against it.
So, for winning, it is in the best interest of the player to capture the queen quickly, and the decks are designed to work in that regard while also proving effective to get the wins. It may not always work for every player but tested and proven decks always work in your favor if the cards are played correctly.
